Kerastase Day at {Toni & Guy}

By 08:24 Thursday, 10 September 2015 , ,

Good hair days don't come easy to me. I am struggling with hair fall, hair that can't be tied into a bun cuz it's short and too fringy, and thirty seven odd hairpins/clutchers are needed to make sure I don't wet my hair while taking a shower. These are just a few of the many annoying things about my hair. I am super lazy (read: incapable) when it comes to styling them and and it is a matter of joy when someone else does it for me. So naturally, an invite to Toni & Guy's bloggers meet made me happy!

The evening started with cupcakes and wine- I am pretty sure this was supposed to be the comfort food for when we hear the brutal truths during the scalp consultations. I found out that my scalp is super sensitive and that's what causing the hairfall. I also found out that my (and everyone else's) scalp is not pretty-AT ALL- thanks to a tiny camera that could zoom in 600 times to highlight the texture of the scalp. It was fun and gross, all at the same time. So, my Kerastase hair expert, a beautiful lady with gorgeous powder-purple hair, recommended a few products which I took note of.

I was just hogging on my 4th cupcake when it was my turn to get a hair wash and Kerastase couture hair styling. I was super happy with the way my hair was looking and must've clicked like, a hundred selfies. Just kidding. Selfies are stupid. Or may be not..

All in all, it was a lovely evening. Ankita, who owns the South Ex outlet of Toni & Guy was a wonderful host and the staff members knew their job all too well. I had a pleasant experience and am looking forward to one of those special Kerastase hair rituals at the outlet. Also, since festive season is right round the corner, you might wanna bookmark Toni & Guy, South Ex for your make-up needs! I'll end this post with a question- does my hair look fabulous or does my hair look fabulous? You don't have to answer that.

 Laters! xx
