I have a thing of quaint little bakeries- cannot just walk past one without entering into it. Red Moon Bakery looked pretty and inviting from outside, I entered with high hopes and wasn't disappointed. Owned and operated by a Canadian couple, David and Anna Hambly, from their kitchen and workshop in Okhla, Red Moon Bakery will keep you coming back for more.

The cupcakes are an absolute delight. You already know Red Velvet cupcakes are my bae, right? It was the very first thing I tried- just bang on! The frosting on the Peanut Butter Cupcakes is as yummy as it can get, although the cake was a tad bit dry. The Carrot cupcake too, was pretty decent although, I found the frosting to be a little too sweet. Canadian dessert stars, Nanaimo Bars {not easy to find in the city} are baked to perfection at Red Moon and are actually among the best on its dessert menu. Gooey, chocolaty and a strong, delightful coconut icing- these bars are not to be missed!

I also brought home a Tomato and Onion Focaccia and I still haven't gotten over it- fresh and perfectly seasoned. Can't wait to try other breads that the place has to offer. Shortbread cookies melt in your mouth before you know it and leave you with a happy heart. They aren't very sweet, super-buttery and are currently, my favourite chai time snack. The huge loaf of Banana and Chocolate Cake I brought home was over in a matter of minutes. Moist and gooey, the cake had lovely chocolate chunks that made everything even better!

I am keen on trying the bagels Red Moon is proud of and I'm coming back for that red velvet fosho!
