Cost: 500 for two

Very few things in life come close to the joy of digging into freshly baked cake. I am always up for hogging as much sugary treats as you can imagine and last weekend, I did just THAT- courtesy Doughlicious Cafe and Bakery. I received a huge box full of delicious goodies for the review and I was so happy to see the huge size of it, I told the whole world {well, mostly my snapchat buddies} about it while unboxing it. I had selected a few items from their extensive menu, to try out and review- so here it is!

The Sweet:

Fine guys, maybe I should stop ordering Red Velvet everywhere I go, but I CAN'T HELP IT OKHAY?! So naturally, this was the first thing I tried from Doughlicious. It was gooey, perfectly sweet and the frosting was pretty good too- not the best I've had- but close enough. Next up, I sunk my teeth into the silky soft Blueberry cheesecake {Pro-tip- cheesecake ALWAYS tastes better a day after, nicely refrigerated and everything}. White Chocolate doughnut was a little too sweet for my taste but enjoyable, nonetheless. For cupcakes, I tried the tangy Lime and lemon, with lemon cream frosting and a lemon wedge- one of the funnest cupcakes I've had. Cookie and Cream is the perfect cupcake for all Ore lovers! Later that day, my tea break became a whole lotta better with their moist, caramel Marble Cake and sweet and salty Lemon Sugar Cookies!

The Savoury:

I ordered the Doughlicious Mix Sauce Penne Pasta, which came loaded with my favourite veggies. The creamy sauce was perfect and I loved the big chunks of broccoli! The Spinach and Corn Sandwich was pretty simple- a generous layer or spinach, corn and a mayo-like spread.. brilliant.

The must-haves

The Blueberry cheesecake was love at first bite. It made me feel so happy and so fat- I seriously didn't care about the latter! Spinach and corn sandwich is a healthy yet filling snack for any time of the day.

Doughlicious has five outlets {Sohna road, MG road, Sector 21, Sector 33, Sector 50} across Gurgaon and also takes online orders for delivery- awesome, right? Whether you're looking for a place to grab a quick bite, or a chilled out happy meal with yourself - Doughlicious is a convenient option, that's not too heavy on the pocket. A 3.5 out of 5 for this one!
