Last Sunday, massive amount of food was sent over to my place by Asian Haus so that I can tell you guys about it- but first things first- how cool is that GIF? I know.

I am fairly new to Asian cuisine- as a person who grew up eating street side Indianised Chinese food, it is going to take time for me to get accustomed to the authentic versions. Fortunately, as a food blogger I get enough opportunities to explore and do just that! When I first checked out the AH menu on its website, I was impressed at the range of dishes they offered. For non-vegetarians, particularly, there's a lot to choose from. As a vegetarian too, I wasn't disappointed.

Every sip of the Wonton Noodle Soup spelled comfort. Silky wontons and even silkier glass noodles simmered in a freshly made vegetable stock- I can have this all day! Pan fried noodles, half crispy and half soft topped with a very light gravy of mix vegetables, were my second favourite. Mix Veg Dimsums tasted as good as they looked- a rich, very minimally seasoned mix of veggies enveloped by a perfectly steamed skin. Oriental Greens with Roasted Garlic {stir fired beans, broccoli, baby corn, mushroom and cashew}is as good as good can get- have it with the Fragrant Rice- nothing like it!

The Singapore noodles and Hawker Fried Rice were probably the two dishes that weren't too new for me- nothing extra ordinary but not too bad either. The otherwise excellent Asian Spring Rolls faced the sad fate of everything crispy that gets home delivered- sogginess!

One thing about Asian Haus that impressed me the most is the quality packaging and condition of the delivered food. My food was hot even at the time of delivery, while their kitchen is at least an hour away from my place. The accompaniments and sauces come neatly in small round vessels- they even send chopsticks and hand wipes.

Order right away if you're craving some Asian- for your own good.
