What: Coast Cafe Original Baja California Tacos with Beer Batter Fried Veggies
Where: H-2, 2nd & 3rd Floor, Hauz Khas Village
Price: Rs. 260 + taxes

I thought of starting mini, dish specific reviews back when I wrote about Monkey Bar's nachos! Finally, here's another one after so long because Coast Cafe's Tacos do deserve a stand alone post. I don't know how 'authentic' they are or whether you guys would like them as much as I do- but they are so simple and make me super happy! The pretty white decor and natural light coming from the cafe's huge glass windows just adds to the experience. I always go for the Beer Batter Fried Veggie Tacos- every bite spells comfort.

The taco shells are soft, stuffed with fried vegetables and purple cabbage {adds a nice crunch}, served with lemon wedges. Along with it comes the yummy chipotle salsa and sour cream- add a generous dollop of both on the taco and let it get messy!

So don't forget to try them the next time you're in HKV. Will try out the other things on the menu soon and write a detailed review!

Already tried Coast Cafe's tacos? Let me know how you feel about them!
