Where: Entry gate no. 8, GIP Mall, Noida, Sector 18
Cuisine: Chinese, Japanese, Thai
Cost: 400 for two

I am not particularly fond/aware of Noida's culinary scene, to be honest. The only familiar place is GIP and the food joints in its {utterly dingy} food court. The bright, happy foodtruck by Kylin therefore, was a relief. The relief instantly turned into happiness once I saw the menu and the prices- 50 bucks for honey chilli potato? I'll take two!

Wanchai by Kylin has quite a few outlets across Delhi NCR, the newest one being in DLF Mall of India. However, the one at GIP is a cute little food truck that can also fullfil all your catering needs- they can easily park the truck at the venue of your get together and the menu too, is customisable.

The regular foodtruck menu is tiny but satisfactory menu and changes every month. I went for the Vegetarian Dimsums and they were perfect- super thin skin, stuffing packed with flavour and the perfect chilli sauce. I tried the Kung Pao Paneer with Veg Fried Rice next. Fried cottage cheese chunks and veggies in a lovely garlic sauce + good ol' fried rice, all cooked to perfection. The portion you see in the picture is just the tasting portion, the entire meal bowl is worth the 200 bucks! I picked up a Veg Noodle Box for my way back home. The noodles used are thin, soft and I could taste fried garlic in every. The noodles are customised a little for the Indian palate and hence, are a little on the spicy side- just the way I like it.

Do check them out the next time you're in Noida or check out the full list of outlets here.
