What: Homemade tiffin delivery service in Gurgaon
How to order: Through their android app. Get it here.
Cost: Rs. 150 onward  for a dabba

The food-tech startup culture in Gurgaon is spoiling us for choice! The latest one added to my list of places to order from is Dabbagul. Their food doesn't just taste fantastic but also reminds you of home and your once favourite time of the day, the school lunch break. The thoughtful packaging really impressed me- it's not just pretty to look at but also super convenient.

You can choose from their regularly changing vegetarian and non vegetarian dabbas.  Neatly packed in plastic boxes comes Dal or curry of the day, one dry curry, rice, 3 chapatis and salad. The quantity of curries and rice is way more than what I've been getting from other home-meal services. The chapatis came warm and soft and didn't require re-heating. The tiny box of salad had a good mix of vegetables. The Dal came with a lovely layer of tadka, just like my mom's. Simple and comforting Gobhi Matar was a delight too. All in all, I really enjoyed my dabba for its simplicity, generous portions and neat packaging.
You need to place your order an hour in advance or you can go for a subscription plan. They currently deliver only in Gurgaon. For more details, check out their website or follow Dabbagul on Facebook.
