Drink, dine, play at Sports Diner, Saket

Delhi is always bustling with the coolest of bars and places to eat at and I can hardly remember having a dull weekend because there was no place to go to. Adding another dimension of fun to dining out, the Sports Diner in Saket promises a good time no matter whether you're with friends or with your family. It's like the ultimate hangout spot that serves great food, can whip up some mean cocktails and let you have the best gaming experience ever. I recently checked it out with two of my college friends and we had a ball!

It's located on Level 3 of Select Citywalk and is pretty easy to spot {it's right up the escalator near Hamley's}. As soon as you enter, you'll feel the chilled out vibe of the place that's further accentuated with peppy music, psychedelic lights and the general arcade hustle. We chose a seat near the trippy glowing bowling arena {more on that later} and started off with a couple of drinks recommended by the mixologist. My favourite was the Watermelon Caprioska followed by the Kiwi Cooler. Both make for excellent accompaniments to delicious light bites on the menu. The Cigar Rolls came piping hot with am amazing mixed vegetable stuffing and sweet-chilli sauce: a definite must have in my opinion. I was not very impressed with the 'Load Em Up Nachos' with salsa and sour scream because of the underwhelming toppings. The star dish was the Mezze Platter that tasted even better than it looked. My favourite bits were the Falafel and all the traditional Middle Eastern dips.

Once you're done filling yourself up with great {and pocket-friendly} F&B, move to the super cool black light bowling arena with UV lighting and neon wall paintings and carpets. Personally, I feel it's a great setting to blow off some steam after work with colleagues or friends. Other than that, there is almost every arcade game you can think of, but the most impressive is the VR Zone. Think a 360 degree turning virtual roller coaster in a full motion cockpit, where you can design your own track! There's also a 6-seater VR ride with 3-D glasses that lets you experience amazing worlds that only exist in your imagination.

The Sports Diner by HangOut is like a dream come true for the little ones and makes for the perfect spot for a kid's party. There's bouncing balls, a cute doll house, mock pizzerias, puppet shows, a jungle themed sitting area, and lots and lots of fun rides.

Overall, it makes for a great place to chill for people of all age groups without costing a bomb. I'd say gather your gang and make a plan right away!
