Unplugged Courtyard, CP

I love CP and it's practically my second home. Though it has everything you would need to have a good time, I've often heard myself say that there are not enough outdoor restaurants in Connaught Place. I instantly wanted to visit Unplugged Courtyard when I heard about its beautiful courtyard complete with a huge tree in the middle. Winters especially, I thought, would make for a great time to enjoy a meal here along with the warmth of the sun.

It has an indoor dining area and a terrace but the courtyard wins hands down. The colourful furniture, umbrellas and props hanging from the tree, the UC scooty against a bright photo wall, and pretty floral arrangements on each table together add a very dreamy vibe to the place. It is even prettier at night with all the lighting.

We began our meal with an Oreo Smoothie and lemonade. The smoothie was the right amount of chocolaty and had wasn't too heavy on the tummy. The white wine Sangria that I ordered a bit later was rather disappointing. For starters, you have GOT TO try the crispy noodle cups with spicy paneer cubes topped with a cheese slice. Non vegetarians must go for their Ganna Chicken which is prepared in sugarcane till the chicken is tender, the skin is crisp and has absorbed all the natural juices. Penne Arabiatta was super delicious and comforting- the tangy Arabiatta sauce was bang on and the sauce to pasta ratio was perfect! Although, I did miss having some garlic bread on the side.

This was all I could take in during this visit. I definitely plan to go again during evening time and try out more from the interesting menu! Just a month old, Unplugged Courtyard looks very promising already. The place was almost full by 1PM on a Sunday and all I could see was happy faces. I will shell out more details for you soon. Stay tuned for the outfit post that we shot for at Unplugged Courtyard- up on the blog next!
