Cooking with iOrderFresh

How many times have you made up your mind to cook something but then dropped the idea simply because of the unavailability of quality ingredients? As a city, Delhi is as urban as urban gets but local grocery stores are often inept in keeping a well-stocked inventory {especially when it comes to gourmet products}. And even if you do find the desired products, how can you be sure whether or not you’re receiving the best quality? Boys and girls, meet iOrderFresh, your very own virtual grocery store where you can get freshly handpicked farms food, gourmet products, and everything that your kitchen {and tummy} needs. The best part is, they offer a 2x money back guarantee if they are not able to fulfill the order for fresh fruits and vegetables!

iOrderFresh takes orders through its website as well as its super convenient App where you will find everything from daily requirements like milk, tea, coffee and breads, seasonal fruits and vegetables, to a wide variety of meats, seafood, cheese and other artisanal products.

Their biggest USP {apart from the quality of products} are the exclusive monthly tie ups with popular brands like Natural’s icecream, Depaul’s, Wengers, Epigamia Greek Yogurt, Sinyoras Pasta, Jimmy’s Gourmet Kitchen, and many more across Delhi NCR. Yep, everything will be delivered right at your doorstep with no additional cost. iOrderFresh also has a dedicated section for organic as well as wellness products.

Now, the reason I can vouch for their products and services is because I recently got a whole lot of ingredients delivered from them to make this snazzy-looking hummus platter. It’s super simple and here’s what all I had ordered from iOrderfresh to make it happen:

For hummus:

-Chickpea {soak overnight and cook till they are soft} - 200gm

-Spices to taste: Paprika powder + Roasted Cumin Powder + salt

-Roasted sesame seeds {powdered}- 1/4th cup

-Garlic- 4 cloves

-1 lemon

-Half cup extra virgin olive oil

Mix all the above ingredients in a blender with water as needed. Garnish with parsley and paprika. That’s it!

For sides, I was feeling quite extravagant and ordered their Pita Bread, Pita Chips, Bell Peppers, Cucumber, and Broccoli.

My Yummus Hummus platter was quite a hit with my family members, all thanks to the great ingredients via iOrderFresh.
