Currently loving: Sheer everything

Hello! The last few days have brought a lot of clarity and sleep deprivation. The roller-coaster began with the long weekend getaway to Kota, following which I started with my post graduation and the classes take up most of my time and mind space. It's been only a week since my college started but I feel a lot of professional doubts clearing up and just the thought of learning something new is keeping me motivated to sleep on time, wake up on time and show up on time.

Whenever I find myself pursuing something long term, whether it's a job or a course, I tend to think of its repercussions on the blog. I think it is always going to be one of my top three priorities. So what I am saying is that I am consciously making an effort to keep my blog updated with new stuff and be even more regular on Instagram. I may be overcompensating, but it is keeping my mind at peace.

Coming to today's post, the trend I am really appreciating RN is sheer, or mesh, whatever you like to call it. It's light, it's sexy and if you enjoy layering as much as I do, sheer clothing will become your new favourite thing too.

I love the trend because of two simple reasons: how lightweight it is and how sexy it can make you feel because of its barely-there-ness. Sheer anything can be worn in a variety of ways as you can not only play with what you wear over it, but also be creative in what you wear under it. Another thing that I'm really digging this season is floral embroidery {I did write a post about it} and I found this very lovely shirt that gives me the best of both the trends. Check it out:

Another item in this outfit that I would really like you to take note of are the gorgeous 'jharoka' inspired earrings I got from Studio Voylla. If you follow me on Instagram, you'd know how crazy I am about Rajasthan and its architecture and these earrings beautifully capture its details and motifs. The design is very intricate but they are extremely lightweight and easy to wear. You can check them out here.

I recently styled a few more products by Studio Voylla on the blog, you can see the full post here.

Before I end the post: I've been thinking of regularly doing a 'what I wore to college' sort of a thing on the blog. But until then, keep an eye on my Instagram for the OOTDs and all the food places that I am discovering around my college!
