What does a good white shirt need? Nothing, really. But I do believe that a kickass pair of boyfriend jeans {mine's got pretty rhinestones too}, sturdy bright kolhapuris and a bucket bag to carry your world in, work mighty fine.

It's going to be hot and you're going to want your hair out of your face. Great news- top buns will forever be fashionable.

However, at the end, it all comes down to one very important question- do I need the bling? If the answer is a screaming YES, put on whatever the fuck you like the most in that jewellery box- there are no rules to this game. 🌸✨

Life is too short to wear your favourite dress the exact same way each time. We can do better than that! Throw on a white shirt at the very least and see how it transforms the whole thing. The belt is optional, I am liking whatever little structure it lends and the tan sync. Two things I discovered with this one: hair ties make for fantastic brooches and that my knees can never be free of bruises

I tend to pick up anything that is even remotely retro- should have been born in the 70s. I truly believe there is no reason you shouldn't tie your best scarves as headbands every now and then, and that a pop of yellow is always a good idea.

Always remember- no sunglasses are ever "too big" and you really don't need a time machine to travel back in time. 🏼✨

#TheWhiteShirtProject is also the story of how I was too broke to invest in a summer jacket so I just put a shirt on the shirt. They are anyway layering EVERYTHING these days- did you hear about the trend of layering bags? SHIRT ON SHIRT has the potential of becoming the next big summer trend. If it does, you know where you saw it first! ✨

I had got this vest tailored especially for the dandiya season! Never really planned on wearing it with a white shirt ever, but this was fun. The sole reason I want to be rich in life is so that I can spend all my monies on gorgeous silver jewellery. Silver jewellery makes me happy.

And though it may look like it but that is not my bitch-face. My bitch-face is better than that.

Description

I am not the biggest fan of lace but I like how it instantly makes a garment look dressy. Added chunky jewellery, a box clutch and colourful peep-toes so that the outfit doesn't end up looking like a uniform. I would've left my hair open if it wasn't such a bad hair day.

Description

Culottes are the only thing I like more than palazzos in summers- easy breezy! Have been wearing these outrageous but awesome octagonal sunglasses almost everyday, everywhere. The knot on the shirt is purely for the purpose of fun.
